Louise is a very kind woman who came back to France to be our English language assistant.
She’s Scottish, however she has an understandable accent, what a surprise !
Before coming in France she studied French at university. That was her first time in our country. Indeed, her experience was so good she wanted to do it twice and here she is !
When she came to our classroom to introduce herself, she talked to us about Scottish culture.
She taught us that the totem animal of Scotland is the unicorn which was supposed to fight against the English lion. She told us lots of Scottish anecdotes like the national meal is potatoes with some sheep stomach-Haggis.
During 2025 summer, Louise was an English teacher at summer camp in Scotland.
She might be in love with languages because she told us she would like to learn some breton. In her first year in France she was also an English language assistant in Pontivy.
Louise likes Breton music too. In fact, she participated in the « festival interceltique de Lorient ».
Moreover, she let us know more about traditions in Scottish families, she explained to us that her dad wears a kilt at wedding with her family : a tartan.
Thanks Louise ! We are very lucky to meet you.
